Let me introduce myself. I am Marcela Barquero, and I have over 10 years of experience in the world of brands and business.
I have been trained in design, communication, branding, marketing, social media, technology, digital strategy management, executive and team coaching, leadership, and emotional and artificial intelligence.
I am the founder and director of my own branding and marketing studio, ESTUDIO OCHO®
I have built my career by merging my creative side with my strategic side, helping companies, startups, entrepreneurial ventures, and personal brands develop and enhance their presence in the world.

📚 Beginning in design and graphic communication: I started my journey during my university years.
💼 Work experience: I worked to finance my studies and delved into the freelance world before graduating.
🎓 Thesis project: I explored design for social media and web pages as the topic of my thesis, although I graduated with honors.
🔄 Diversification of experience: I found employment in various areas and broadened my horizons by working with public and private companies, institutions, and associations.
📈 Social media Diploma and move to Mexico City: This expanded my client base and services.
🌟 Lifestyle change in 2019: After leaving my job at a company, I decided to become an entrepreneur and a digital nomad, adopting a slow lifestyle.
🏡 San Cristóbal de las Casas: I found a special place and learned adaptability and resilience.
🚀 Start of my personal brand before the pandemic: I fully launched my personal brand and in 2021 founded Estudio Ocho.
🌍 Living in Spain and working globally: I work with clients in different parts of the world.
